By thickness
No slabs match that filter — try another thickness or finish, or ask us what's coming.
These are the 3cm slabs currently on the floor at our Mayfield West showroom. Thickness matters more than most people expect: at 30mm the edge of a benchtop reads as a solid block of stone, so there's no need to laminate a strip underneath to fake a thicker edge, and waterfall ends and island overhangs look heavier and more deliberate. Every slab above is honed, polished or leathered as listed, and each page shows the full slab and close-ups of that exact block.
Choose 30mm when the edge is on show — kitchen islands, waterfall ends, bar tops, vanities with a thick front edge. 20mm is lighter, a little easier for your stonemason to handle and cut, and is the usual choice for splashbacks, wall cladding and runs where the edge is tucked under cabinetry. Your stonemason will advise on support for overhangs either way. Not sure? Our choosing stone guide walks through it, or book a viewing and compare both thicknesses side by side.
Usually yes, per square metre — there's more stone in it. But because a 30mm edge doesn't need a laminated build-up, fabrication can be simpler. Ask us for a price on the slab you like and your stonemason for the fabrication side.
Yes. Our showroom is at 1/5 Coal Wash Drive, Mayfield West — open by appointment, 7 days a week, weekends welcome.
