Between Newcastle and Coffs Harbour there is no full-slab natural stone showroom, so Port Macquarie, Forster and Taree projects are usually chosen from samples. Slab House at Mayfield West, Newcastle is the nearest place to see full quartzite, marble, dolomite, granite and limestone slabs in person — about 1 hour 15 from Forster, 1 hour 45 from Taree and 2 hours 40 from Port Macquarie on the Pacific Highway.

For most coastal builds that's one trip: choose the slab, hold it, and we deliver it to your stonemason on the Mid North Coast.

How It Works

1. Shortlist from the site. Every slab has its own photograph — browse quartzite, dolomite, granite and marble, or send us your kitchen plans and we'll photograph the slabs that suit.
2. Book a viewing — weekdays or by appointment on weekends, so you can combine it with a Newcastle trip.
3. Delivery to your fabricator. We coordinate with stonemasons on the Mid North Coast and deliver the slab crated to their workshop.

Which Stone?

For coastal homes the most-chosen slabs are soft whites and warm neutrals — Taj Mahal, Opus and Matarazzo. For outdoor kitchens in salt air, granite such as Magma is the practical pick.

Pricing and Trade

Slabs are priced per square metre by stone; fabrication is quoted by your stonemason. Mid North Coast stonemasons, builders and designers can enquire for trade pricing and delivery options.
