The Closest Full-Slab Showroom to the Central Coast

If you're building or renovating between Wyong and Woy Woy, your stone options have usually been a 100mm sample in a kitchen showroom or a trip down the M1 to Sydney. Slab House is the other direction — a natural stone slab showroom at Mayfield West, Newcastle, about 50 minutes from Wyong, an hour from Gosford and Erina, and roughly 70 minutes from Terrigal or Avoca, all on the M1 with no city traffic.

What you get for the drive is the thing that actually matters with natural stone: you see the exact slab that becomes your benchtop, full size, under natural light. Quartzite, marble, dolomite, granite and limestone — walk the racks, compare them side by side, photograph them for your designer and choose the one you'll live with.

How It Works for Central Coast Clients

1. Book a viewing. The showroom is open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9am–3pm and by appointment outside those hours, including weekends — useful if you're coming up from the Coast.
2. Choose and hold your slab. Every slab is priced and available. Once you've chosen, we hold it for you.
3. Your stonemason fabricates. We already supply stonemasons on the Central Coast and coordinate collection or delivery direct to your fabricator. If you don't have one yet, ask — we can point you to Central Coast fabricators we work with.

Which Stone for a Central Coast Home?

Coastal homes lean toward soft whites and warm neutrals — Taj Mahal, Opus and Matarazzo are the slabs most often chosen for that look. For outdoor kitchens and alfresco areas near salt air, granite such as Magma or Black Storm is the practical choice.

Pricing

Slab pricing is per square metre and depends on the stone — a consistent granite sits well below a rare Brazilian quartzite. Fabrication (cutting, edges, cutouts, installation) is quoted separately by your stonemason. We're happy to give slab pricing by phone or enquiry before you make the trip.
