It earns the name. Warm ochre and gold sweep diagonally across the slab, folding through olive green, smoke grey and cool blue, with white quartz breaking the surface like heavy brushwork and fine charcoal seams drawn between. Every metre reads differently. Polished, which pulls the full depth out of the colour and gives the movement its wet, painted quality. Quartzite, so it takes the drama without the fragility.
