A deep blue-grey ground is drawn through with paler smoke — long diagonal currents that sweep across the slab and gather into brighter quartz where the stone opens up, with fine olive and gold seams threading the fracture lines. Darker and moodier than most greys, without tipping into black. Honed, which holds the tone flat and keeps the movement soft rather than glassy. Quartzite, so it wears like a working surface should.
