Ice Lake

Named for exactly what it looks like. A pale, half-translucent ground of icy white and soft grey, threaded end to end with a fine dark network of brown and burgundy veining — branching, root-like, closer to frost on glass than to ordinary movement. Warm amber pools through in places and softens the cool. Polished, which lifts the depth in the ground and makes the fine veining read sharp. Quartzite, so it holds up to a working kitchen.
